The first thing I've done is get on the airplane to El Salvador. I had to wait two hours to get on the plane because we came at six and our flight was eight thirty. Our flight was also delayed because the air conditioning was leaking. We had to wait another two hours to get on another plane in Atlanta. Once I got on the plane, the flight attendant did a speech. The plane started to lift off the ground. After a while my ears started to feel a little weird. And then I started to feel the pressure of the air surrounding us. As we got higher and higher my ears started hurting. After a while, I could barely hear the sound of my voice. All I could hear was the air between me and the airplane. The flight was an hour long to get to Atlanta. After I got off the plane I could still barely hear but it was starting to get better. Because the flight was delayed, we only had 3 minutes to get to the flight in El Salvador. We had to ride a train to get to our flight to El Salvador. We were breathless when we gave our passports to the lady behind the desk. As I got on the plane, I could see how much higher quality this plane was to the plane to Atlanta. As the plane was going down to touch the land, my ears ached with intense pain that I was squirming in my seat. As the plane touched the ground, my ears felt a sense of relief. As I was leaving the plane I was crossing the bridge from the plane to the airport. I was hit with the heat of El Salvador. The first thing I noticed was how different the airport was here from the U.S. The first thing I told my sister was that we could be able to speak English out loud because no one could understand us. As we walked to get our luggage, we had to go to tourism services. We needed a certificate to prove that our parents were born here so we could enter. We didn't have one so we had to wait an hour to receive it from our parents. After we got past the tourism services, we went to get our luggage. After that we went out of the airport to find our cousin to take us out of the country where our family lives. The ride from the airport to the country was two hours long. To be continued... Summary
