As you may know, I try making art with pixels for a while now and I have learned a thing or two in my time of doing this. I have learned how to use color to my advantage. I use color to make things pop out and dissipate. An example of this is in the image on the leftmost side I made the mask seem to have depth by increasing the color brightness as it gets closer to the center. The same goes for making something dissipate, you just make the colors darker and they go farther from the point you want them to dissipate from you get the look of the image dissipates. An example of this is on the right image in the mouth and the neck it gives the illusion of the mouth getting deeper and the neck going more further away. I have also played around with the canvas size in the software, you can see this here on the left image where I tried to make Spartacus head in different canvas sizes. I experience that it was harder to put more detail in each of the heads. I learned that the bigger the canvas the more detail you can put into each head. I wanted to make pixel art in the first place because I want to make a 2d pixel game. I mainly want to make a 2d pixel because I love pixel games. my love of pixel games grew more and more as I played more indie games. All in all, I learned a lot about how to make pixel art in the time I would make pixel art. Summery

I had tried drawing with a drawing tablet in the past, but I found it hard to draw with a tablet back then. I thought it would be like drawing on paper with a pencil but I found it much more complex than that. Drawing on the tablet was much harder than traditional drawing, the tablet was harder, thicker, and smoother than paper and the pen was thicker. The pens tip was hard to get used to because I so used to the resistant the lead of the pencil on the paper. On the tablet, the pen would just slide across the tablet as if I were drawing on ice. The reason I wanted to try drawing on the tablet was that I knew that I would eventually need to start drawing on software because of how digital art is becoming the norm and I would need to learn it sooner or later. The drawing below is the drawing I made using the drawing tablet. As I was drawing it became more and easier to understand and get used to using the tablet. My drawing is of a flower whose roots are represented by a hand, the hand is touching the acid water that flows underground. The stem is seen bleeding to show the pain of being forced to drink the bad water. This is also showed the tears that it cries. I picked the colors that did to create and more colorful and surreal look to it. To me, I think that coloring something its natural colors is boring and uncreative, so I try using colors that don't fit. All in all, I feel that I am getting better at using a drawing tablet. This is not my best piece of art it was the second time I used the drawing tablet. Summery
-My experience with the drawing tablet -Describing my art in detail During the summer I was inspired to do more drawing with paper and pencil the traditional way. The reason for this was that my sister had said to me that the way that I draw was not very common and that I should practice more. I figured that she was right and so I started drawing in my sketchbook for some ideas. I usually have some rules about the things that draw and it makes it harder to think of things to draw. This rule also brings out the creative side of me to find a more different way of looking at a thing. So after the long hour of brainstorming, I finally made something that I thought was good and worth the effort of drawing on a piece of paper. The drawing is the one that you can see below the text. I felt like choosing this one because of the symbolism in the piece art. Most of my art piece is mainly up to the perspective of the viewer. I went on my usual way of drawing which is to draw with the pencil then outline it in pen, but my sister told me that I should outline the whole thing in a marker to make the lines more distinct. So I tried doing that but it is harder than you think. The marker uses ink that is wetter and that makes it bleed more and makes the lines thicker than what I want. Overall I think that I did pretty good, well that what my sister said after I showed her the final piece. That was something that learned during the summer. Summery
